Feature focus: I’m marrying a cardboard cut-out

This week we gained global exposure for Lauren’s unusual tale of true love. The 24-year-old plans to marry a cardboard cutout of Twilight heartthrob Ed Cullen, in Las Vegas, as her thesis project for her master’s degree.

She believes that expectations of finding Prince Charming are unrealistic, and wants to make a statement to the world with cardboard Ed, in front of a packed church including her friends and family, that true love is just a fairytale.

We helped Lauren share her story in newspapers, magazines, blogs, and websites across the world, writing her story in a variety of styles to ensure her message received maximum exposure.

Lauren’s story was featured by, among others, the Daily Mail, Metro, Love It!, Reveal, The Huffington Post, MSN, Las Vegas Weekly, perezhilton.com, and was widely talked about on social networking sites including Facebook and Twitter.

Here is a cutting of the article featured in Love It! magazine in November 2012.
