Book publishers are inundated with new pitches every single day, so it can be incredibly hard to get them to take notice of yours. But, with us on your side, you’ve got a short-cut straight to the top of the pile. We can offer help with crafting the perfect pitch, and guidance in hitting the spot with your intended market. We’ve also linked up with a top literary agent, who can personally represent your idea in conversations with the right people at the publishing houses. Our services also include financial negotiation, contract management and publicity. We don’t even mind if you haven’t written a single word of your book yet – we’ve got a team of ghostwriters who can help you with that.
Will a publisher buy my book?
The best way to find out whether your story idea will be a hit with the publishers is to ask the experts! At any given time, there will be certain ‘hot topics’ that the biggest publishing houses are dying to explore, but there’s always space in the market for something they might not have even imagined. All we need to get started is a few short paragraphs about your potential book. We don’t need a full pitch or sample chapters, just have a chat with us about your idea and we’ll give you honest and constructive feedback.
Do I keep creative control?
Absolutely, yes. Even if you work with one of our talented ghostwriters, you’ll retain total control over the direction and wording of your book. You’ll be involved in setting out the structure, crafting each and every chapter, and calling the shots on the details. You’ll get to make as many changes as you want to the final manuscript, and you’ll even get to give the design of the front cover your seal of approval. If you have any specific questions about how the process of writing a book with a ghostwriter works, give us a call for a chat.
How long does it take?
As you might expect, there are lots of steps to get through before you’ll see your story on sale in your local bookshop. However, with the right team on board you won’t be troubled with hold-ups along the way. You can find yourself with a top book deal within weeks, then once the contracts have been signed our ghostwriters will be dedicated to your project on a full time basis. In the meantime, your publisher will be planning a publicity strategy, designing the cover, and doing everything else that needs to be done behind the scenes. You could expect to see your book on the shelves within a few months.
Which books have you worked on?
Our most recent book is Becky – a heartbreaking tribute to murdered Bristol teen Becky Watts, released in March 2016. We negotiated a high-profile deal for her father Darren Galsworthy, with renowned publishing house HarperCollins.
Other recent successes have included:
- Violated – Rotherham sex abuse scandal victim Sarah Wilson bravely shares her harrowing experiences at the hands of an older gang. Violated was a bestseller, published by HarperCollins
- Nikitta: A Mother’s Story – Pregnant Nikitta was murdered by Carl Whant, her boyfriend’s cousin. Her mother Marcia Grender pays the ultimate tribute, based on diaries she kept at the time recording the funeral, police investigation, and court case.
- April – The parents of April Jones, the five-year-old girl who was snatched close to her home and murdered, relive their painful experiences to raise the question of what more can be done to prevent similar tragedies.
