It’s Valentine’s week for the magazines, so we’ve supplied them with a selection of really heart-warming tales. It’s a myth that the media only loves bad news – we find that the magazines will take any excuse to print a story with a happy ending. So if you’re in the mood for something a little bit mushy, click on the images below to read the romantic stories in full. Ahhhhh!

MY WRONG NUMBER FOUND ME THE RIGHT MAN!

Liz, 25, was just 16 when she answered her mobile to a random wrong number caller… and found a very drunk man on the other end. Then the caller, Brian, 17, phoned back the next morning to apologise — Liz was charmed, and they began talking every day. Romance blossomed and eventually Brian found a job nearby.  He proposed on Liz’s 21st birthday and they married in December 2012. Their amazing story was published in Pick Me Up.

‘WE GOT MARRIED — 15 TIMES!’

When Susan, 40, had her dream wedding with Evan, 43, she hoped the romantic spark between them would never fade. So Susan and Evan made another vow to each other – to get married in a different place every year. The couple have kept a picture diary of their 15 weddings with dolphins, in a hot air balloon and as king and queen in Las Vegas! Their romantic pictures were published in Real People magazine.

 JOUST MARRIED! OUR MEDIEVAL WEDDING

When Rebecca, 30, and Dave, 40, got engaged they knew they didn’t want a traditional white wedding to celebrate their nuptials. But Rebecca was gobsmacked when Dave suggested a medieval theme. They married at a castle in 2009, with full costumes for guests, traditional decorations, and even a hog’s head-shaped wedding cake! They sold their fun story to Real People.
