We’ve been on a bit of a mission recently to expose the UK’s worst love cheats. It’s only fair that other women are warned before it’s too late! Naming and shaming a dastardly ex is sweet revenge… and a generous payment for sharing your experiences should give you something to finally smile about. Magazines will pay up to £2,000 for love rat stories. You can read some recent examples below.

I TURNED DETECTIVE TO SNARE MY LOVE RAT

Nicola, 26, had been with boyfriend Gary for 18 months when he began acting suspiciously and became protective over his phone.  Then when she discovered he’d been sending messages to three other women he’d met on a singles website, Nicola turned detective. In a bid to trap her rat red-handed she posed as ‘Saucy Sarah’ on the site and set up a fake date — Gary fell for it hook, line and sinker. She exposed him in Real People magazine.

SCHEMING BEST FRIEND STOLE MY MAN

Claire, 23, and Rich, 24, began dating after meeting at college and after two years the pair had a baby girl together. But Claire’s best friend, Nicola, wasn’t a fan of Rich and convinced Claire that she deserved better. With Lizzie’s support, Claire split with Rich. But Nicola had a plan. With best friend Claire out of the picture she moved in on Rich and began a secret affair – with the man she supposedly hated. We arranged Claire a deal with Take A Break.

HUBBY FLEW TO OZ FOR ONLINE FLING

Julia, 45, had four children with Glen, 54, her husband of 15 years, when one day he announced over dinner that he was leaving her. Julia watched in stunned horror as Glen packed his bags and flew to Australia — to meet a woman he’d fallen for over the internet. His Aussie fling didn’t last but it wrecked the 15-year long marriage. Last year, Julia started a new relationship with an old friend. We sold her story to Bella.
