THIS WEEK IN THE MAGS: HELP WITH THE MEDIA

As well as selling stories to magazines, we’re also experts in taking control of media attention when a family needs us most. When your own life hits the headlines it’s hard to know where to turn, who to talk to, and what to do next. We can help. If direct approaches from editors are becoming overwhelming we can divert the pressure away from you, giving you the time and space you need as a family. That’s exactly what we did for two families who recently found themselves in the news under devastating circumstances.

ARSON! MONSTER MURDERESS BURNED OUR BABIES

We represented Jonty Lewis and Steve Allen after five members of their family were murdered in an horrific house fire. The couple lost their children Bailey, aged four, and Skye, two, when they died along with their aunt, 20-year-old Lee-Anna, her fiance, Liam  23 and their own 15-month-old-son Charlie. Jealous neighbour Melanie Smith, 43, was found guilty of murder, and in the aftermath of the court case we helped the family pay tribute to their lost relatives in the press. They told of their grief in Chat magazine and New.

MUM’S GRIEF: THE PRANK THAT TORE MY TWINS APART

When Michelle Jevons hit the headlines in February, we got in touch to offer our services. Her daughter Jessica, 12, was forever playing practical jokes on her twin brother, Patrick, but in February this year one of her schoolgirl pranks took a deadly turn. Frustrated after the family computer broke, Michelle, 47, had sent Jessica to bed — where Patrick found her 15 minutes later… hanging from a door.  Jessica died instantly after hitting her vital vagus nerve and Michelle has been left devastated by the fatal prank that left Patrick without his other half. We helped Michelle to speak out to other parents in Pick Me Up magazine.

Do you need some advice on how to cope with press intrusion? Have you been bombarded and don’t know where to turn? Please get in touch on 0117 9076934 or fill in the contact form on the right – we’ll talk you through your options.
