DAD ABUSED ME – WHY DID I LET HIM TOUCH MY GIRL?
Kirsten, 29, was abused by her dad when she was just eight years old, but held back the full extent of his crimes from police. Shockingly, 15 years later, she allowed her dad to babysit her own four-year-old daughter – who he also went on to abuse. Destroyed by her father’s actions, Kirsten blamed herself. It’s only since her dad’s death last year that she’s found the courage to speak for the first time, choosing to tell her story to That’s Life magazine.

LOST 8 STONE TO SHARE CLOTHES WITH MY DAUGHTER
Donna was always envious of her slinky size ten daughter Kayleigh, 20. She longed to ditch her dowdy size 24 smocks, but diets never seemed to work. But when her GP told her she was putting her health at risk she started to cut down on the snacks. She joined a slimming club for support, and lost a huge 8 stone. Now she loves shopping trips with her daughter. Instead of shapeless shirts she can fit into Kayleigh’s skinny jeans, and Kayleigh can dip into her mum’s new smaller stylish wardrobe. They sold their story to That’s Life magazine.
