DAD ABUSED MY DAUGHTER TOO

We’ve had a really busy week here at Sell My Story, with another five of our stories hitting the newsagent stands today! We’ve got a huge mix of shocking family dramas, emotional experiences, and bizarre lifestyles. You can read all the stories in full by clicking on the pictures.

DAD ABUSED ME – WHY DID I LET HIM TOUCH MY GIRL?

Kirsten, 29, was abused by her dad when she was just eight years old, but held back the full extent of his crimes from police.  Shockingly, 15 years later, she allowed her dad to babysit her own four-year-old daughter – who he also went on to abuse. Destroyed by her father’s actions, Kirsten blamed herself. It’s only since her dad’s death last year that she’s found the courage to speak for the first time, choosing to tell her story to That’s Life magazine.

“CAN DAD COME WITH ME TO HEAVEN?”

  • Last Christmas, Rachael, 21, learned that her fiance Tom, 41, was terminally ill. Then in January this year, their daughter Mia, three, fell  ill with meningitis – and died before her parents arrived at hospital. In a tragic twist, Tom died just four days later – after he heard little Mia calling him to join her in heaven.  She spoke to Pick Me Up magazine.

I LEFT HIM – SO HE KILLED MY MUM

Melanie, 40, caught her husband Robert cheating on her, so moved in with her mum, Alice, 71. Robert tried to win her back but his last ditch attempt failed. Two days later, in a horrific act of revenge Robert held Melanie’s mum hostage before shooting her dead and turning the gun on himself. Her story is in Full House magazine.

HUBBY FOUND MY EX’S LEG IN WARDROBE!

After Susan’s husband Don died of foot cancer, 45, she kept his ashes in an urn – and his prosthetic leg next to her bed. Then Susan, 49, met David. He accepted the ashes but had serious doubts  when he discovered Don’s leg, weeks before their wedding. Don’s creepy presence eventually led to divorce. The couple decided to give their marriage another try, on one condition – Don had to go. Their story was in That’s Life.

LOST 8 STONE TO SHARE CLOTHES WITH MY DAUGHTER

Donna was always envious of her slinky size ten daughter Kayleigh, 20. She longed to ditch her dowdy size 24 smocks, but diets never seemed to work. But when her GP told her she was putting her health at risk she started to cut down on the snacks. She joined a slimming club for support, and lost a huge 8 stone. Now she loves shopping trips with her daughter. Instead of shapeless shirts she can fit into Kayleigh’s skinny jeans, and Kayleigh  can dip into her mum’s new smaller stylish wardrobe. They sold their story to That’s Life magazine.
